A Real Airliner Flight ***Part 1***

Featured Replies

I figured, since we're almost at the end of MSFS 2020, that I should fly a "real" airliner trip.  It's not perfect as SWA doesn't seem to go direct from MSP to LGA.  Typically there is a stop in DEN or MDW.  But, I don't have time for all that haha!

Anyway it's a real gate to gate sim session from me... extremely rare as I'm normally parking at the FBO in a general aviation craft.

Hope you enjoy this late afternoon/evening flight from KMSP via COULT7 DLL GERBS J146 ETG MIP4 to KLGA - FL370.  We've got a nice tailwind, so we're doing about 520 knots over the ground.

Naturally the B737-700 is from PMDG, MSP from FlightBeam, MSP downtown from Samscene, LGA from MK Studios, and NYC Times from Samscene.  AI traffic provided by FSLTL.

Great screenshots Ryan, loving the livery too.

Very, very fine, Ryan. Lovely set of shots, Minneapolis looks great as ever, and that livery is nice. Everything looks really sharp and crisp, and the whole thing is rather inspirational.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Lovely set with the Southwest 737-700...this is the 737 Variant, and this is the livery (except for that "Adopt a Pilot..." thing....) that most of my SWA flights out of KMDW had taken place ...it has been now ages since I flew SWA...

Yes, why detour to DEN or MDW (and buzz overhead of my neighborhood in the latter case...🙂...) ...From your home base direct to New York City sounds good to me...🙂...

Thanks for sharing this trip of yours in an airliner...!
