November 16, 20241 yr Since 2024 is going to have stream of content to where almost everyone will be online when flying, I really hope Asobo thinks about creating a map to show whos flying and where. I mean Vatsim, PilotEdge, OnAir, SayIntentions are just some of the apps that do this for their user base. Even more so, include the ability to have filters and display only items like Pc or Xbox, list of planes being used and how many of them etc. Minus the Xplane users, this would be probably the most complete look at the hobbies true popularity and use. i9-13900K O/C | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY | RTX 4090 24GB | 2x SSD M.2 (2TB Samsung 990 PRO) 1x SSD (4TB Samsung 870 EVO) | Windows 11 Home | H20: HydroLux PRO:HardLine Tubing| 1000w PSU | Starlink WiFi

In 2020 if you have multiplayer turned on, you can see other players on the world map.

Thats the thing...how many users fly on multiplayer. Not VATSIM or PilotEdge but Multiplayer? That said, pretty much everyone who will use 2024 will be streaming the sim meaning they are online. So, with that, it would be a near high 90's percentage of always showing just how many users are flying globally at any given moment. I have a strong feeling that MS will know this info for internal data sourcing but it would be nice if they shared it in at least a map. i9-13900K O/C | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY | RTX 4090 24GB | 2x SSD M.2 (2TB Samsung 990 PRO) 1x SSD (4TB Samsung 870 EVO) | Windows 11 Home | H20: HydroLux PRO:HardLine Tubing| 1000w PSU | Starlink WiFi

You would be one of possible hundreds and hundreds of thousand planes on a map that would just show a plane. No personal info. Just a map and a lot, a lot of planes. However, I dont think anyone had control of the game pass name as it was randomly assigned to us users so even if they showed the hundreds of thousands of user names, no one would know that SpaghettiBarn288 would be you unless you posted it. I mean try and pick out an individual in one of these maps that would be nothing compared to what a live map of all current MSFS users would look like at any given moment.
