November 16, 20241 yr I've made some adjustments on taxiway lights. I had to test it in flight and stop spending hours on the MSFS Scenery Editor. There's no reason I shouldn't enjoy! So let's pick an unusual bird (for me) for this very short hop between Fallbrook (L18) and Oceanside (Bob Maxwell KOKB) north of San Diego, CA. Holding point 18. A Cessna is on final. Seated on the dark. Light is slowing warming-up. After the Cessna's go around, line-up runway 18 Fallbrook (L18). I'm not use at all with this bird. Cool handling on ground. But the Rotax is really a new world for me. Climbing to gain some light (and altitude). Real time weather. This MSFS2020 is awesome. Cruising... Hum, just for a few seconds. Had to monitor the ASOS and prepare the arrival. It's a tiny flight. The ground rendering in this southern California is jaw dropping. 2'000 ft to check the field conditions and the windsock. The ASOS give between wind calm and from 070. Turning final. Some clouds popping up dimming the light. Final runway 07, Oceanside (KOKB) Long touch and runway vaccated at the end.
