Instead of being an early installer, I decided to rely on the community before I begin.

1) How do I install MSFS 2024 to my D drive?

2) How much space does it take after a full install?

3) Is it loading faster than MSFS 2020?

4) Is the planner vastly improved?

5) Are controllers easy to configure?

Please share anything that can easy the transition.

I'm also interested in knowing if the weather, atc & ai traffic are improved.

Looking forward to trying it ASAP.

LOL...you do see NO ONE has been able to install, let alone play the game yet, right?

How about easing the transition by starting with the installation first.  You have to crawl before you can walk.

When you set up the sim for the first time, it asks you where you want to install it. I guess you could choose D drive then. I just installed to the default Xbox folder.

Thanks for you post. It's not my fault that the servers are overloaded!

There's enough info already to keep me far away from MSFS 2024. I can only hope that MSFS 2020 works when I try load load it the next time.

I haven't bought let alone installed FS24!
Do you have FS20? Or an active XBox account?
