Likely he means the google map plugin. 

Some people prefer Google or other versions of Bing, but that is largely personal preference. I did not use a third party weather app nor the map plug ins in 2020 and I certainly would not use them in 2024.

Yeah, no gear at this point. I used Addons Linker to place these three folders in community:

I got "aig-aitraffic-effects" and "aig-aitraffic-modelbehavior" from 2020 community folder.

How, or better, where did you install LOWI? I assume it is the Premium iniBuilds version? I am toying with the idea to keep my one and only AddonLinker Master folder for both, MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 and tag MSFS2024 compatible add-ons. Then run separate .exe for AL, depending which sim I run.

Question is, will add-ons that were originally made for MSFS2020 and will be "enhanced" or "premium-ised" for MSFS2024 have to be installed twice??

Ah yes, poor Admiral Ozzel, that was unfortunate 😅 I used the iniManager - need to point it to 2024 community folder in settings. Using the updated Addons Linker with separate .exe's for each sim is great.

I wanted to "torture test" the sim - see what it could handle. In 2020 I didn't use ASFS for the last few months. I rarely use the map enhancement mod.

@Cpt_PiettI am surprised that you write that AIG models work.

That is not my experience (landing gears are always up) and Kai also says AIG is not yet compatible...
