How do I refuel my aircraft?

Featured Replies

In freeflight mode, I cannot find a way to refuel my aircraft after I run out of fuel..

That should work indeed. The load page from the toolbar in 2020 has been moved to the EFB. Nice touch imho. But it's a bit buggy... Sometimes the pilot doesn't seem to be loaded. But for fuel it works like a charm already. (It's a PITA though that the EFB doesn't save its settings yet.)

EDIT It's also a port the total amount of fuel (in the case of more tanks) isn't shown when you change the amount. Worked better in 2020. Now I have to do the math... Yikes ... LOL

OK... Tab to get the EFB, Airplane symbol at the bottom, FlightPerformance button, Mass and Balance page, Fuel tab, adjust fuel quantity, Load in Aircraft.   Simple once you know how 🙂

Yup. A quick test confirms.
In reality, the FAA has a fleet of Bonanza tankers (KC-36s) that patrol the west coast to assist poor pilots in their times of need.

The page is called Mass & Balance iirc. But yeah, it's there somewhere. 😉

I haven't figured out the last tab on that page (to the right of fuel) where you set the balance or something... Don't really understand what to do there. Whatever I do it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Can't you still do CTRL+F to call a fuel truck?
