November 27, 20241 yr I almost got to live in the Aleutian Islands when I was 13 dad was a USMC Gsgt stationed on Whidbey Island when he got orders to Adak Alaska. We were getting ready to move there but the Marine that dad was replacing decided to extend there so we didn't go. I always wonder what it would be like living there.
