December 7, 20241 yr You can get the sounds for the TBM to work by doing this: 1. Go to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official2020\OneStore folder and create a new folder named asobo-aircraft-tbm930 2. From your MSFS 2020 installation \Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\asob_TBM930 folder copy the sound and soundai folders to the folder you created in step 1.

Great idea! 🙂 However... Only worked for me by creating the whole path of: asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\asobo_TBM930 and also adding the manifest and layout files.. Did yours work without this? Edited December 8, 20241 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
December 8, 20241 yr Yes, you are correct. My initial post left out part of the path and the need to copy the json files, sorry. Here are correct instructions for others: You can get the sounds for the TBM to work by doing this: 1. Go to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official2020\OneStore folder and create the following folder structure inside the OneStore folder: asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930. 2. From your MSFS 2020 installation \Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930 folder copy the sound and soundai folders to the Asobo_TBM930 folder you created in step 1. ( full path to copy files to: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official2020\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930\ ) 3. From your MSFS 2020 installation \Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930 folder copy the layout.json and manifest.json files to the asobo-aircraft-tbm930 folder you created in step 1. ( full path to copy files to: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official2020\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\ )

The only issue I've got with the BSQ TBM is that the engine is damaged when starting on the runway. It's quick to repair and start the engine though. Or just start on the apron like I'm supposed to 🙂 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
March 16, 20251 yr Yeah, I unfortunately attempted to fly the BS TBM in 2024 and came across a lot of problems. I see it there as an available plane to fly but after the SU1 it got borked again. Anyone able to recreate it or fly it alright? 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
March 16, 20251 yr Author I haven’t had any issues using the BS TBM in 2024, I did have to do the sound mods above and now that the TDS GTN is working in 2024 I’ve had a number of nice flights
