Autopilot doesn't work

Featured Replies

Good morning everyone, Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a solution.  The problem is that the autopilot isn' t working at all, no matter what, and it isn't specific to a plane, it is affecting all my planes. The only addon I have  installed is the PMDG B738,the other ones are   default planes.I have unistalled and reinstalled MSFS2024 twice without any positive result.

Is this a MSFS2024 bug or just on my site?

Thanks for your help.

PMDG 738 is not working in 2024.

Indeed, I've noticed that, but the AP in the other planes isn't working either.

can you elaborate about what exactly isn't working with the autopilot?

I've only tried the default Cessna 172 and the A2A Comanche and in both the autopilot works fine.

Well, it doesn't follow a flight plan, HDG or NAV,it flies straight forward for ever, same with Altitude hold

I think it’s something going on your side.

Auto pilot is definitely working.

most likely  you havnt  set  a  flight  plan in if  its  not  following  at all. or  you  havnt set  the  auto pilot  to nav mode  or   hdg  mode only

And if you're in any of the busses, make sure you turn on the FD. Made that mistake briefly trying out one of the defaults, as Fenix and the other busses usually have the FD on by default. Without that the AP won't engage.
