Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Compatibility List

Featured Replies

It's certainly not a comprehensive list yet but I think it's the best I've seen. No CAS Piper either.

This: "FSElite's definition "compatible" is that you can load it in and it mostly/partly works I guess."

If it's compatible, it works, if it doesn't work, it's not compatible.
There is no room for interpretation and FsElite have not tried to interpret it.
More than that, they have gone to the trouble of naming the source of the compatibility report.
Some of those might be subjective, as we can all miss details and some of us are more tolerant
of anomalies than others.
It's still a very useful resource and admirable that that it has been offered freely to us all.

And where is that "scoffing" at their work?   I'll wait.  That's your word, not mine.

Since you are a reader and not a comprehender, I will elaborate:

1.  The JustFlight Tomahawk is listed as "not compatible".  I tested this.  It will not even load into the sim.  Therefore, I think we could agree that it's "not compatible" at all, right?

2.  The Flysimware Sierra is listed as "Compatible".   It will nicely load into the sim, and you can fly it around no problem.  However, the G5 variant displays (the primary flight displays for that variant) are flickering and illegible, the taxi and landing and beacon lights do not work, EFB issues are reported, and other sundry less significant problems exist (no avatars, etc.).   Therefore, a reasonable, thinking person might say a definition of "compatible" here might be a bit open to interpretation.

Now, if you're gonna say that's "scoffing" at other people's work, that's on you because you used that word and I did not.

I don't recommend trusting this list at all. It has "user reports" of compatibility for products that haven't even been released like the Avanti or C750. It's also missing dozens of products.
