Getting CTDs all of a sudden.

Featured Replies

Had 3 back to back, which is unusual as the game has been reliable lately for me. Anyone else having these all of a sudden? I installed a freeware plane but then deleted it so it can't be that.

Ok it's working now. I had moved the Wing42 Boeing 247 to my ms2024 hoping it would show up but it did not. I think that was causing CTDs I'm back in the air now.

I had a few after the last update.
- Loading screen, trying to connect and then all of a sudden it's gone. Nothing in Task Manager either. Restart is then OK (happened more than once already).
- One when selecting another aircraft in the freeflight section, the moment I click on the active aircraft: CTD.

Standard version of the sim, nothing added.

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base & hegykc MFG Crosswind modded pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S for VR

I had a couple as well. The first happened after I was sitting for quite a while at EGLL, the other when the flight was loading. Since then - knock on wood - everything is OK.
