December 17, 20241 yr I've had a similar experience with my eldest daughter when she was about 3 years old. I was carrying her into her room and I had my back to the window - she was looking behind me when she asked me "who is that man in the window" - the window blind was closed at the time. Later, when she was much older and was sharing a room with her sister, she woke one night and saw an old lady sitting on her sister's bed appearing the be sewing or making an action similar to stroking a cat. She still recalls the second incident vividly, 20 years later. David Porrett

I've heard similar experiences from others, too.
