I would like to install XP12 on my laptop. Only one will ever be running at any time.

Can it be done by copying my existing XP12 installation onto an external drive then copying that into the drive on my laptop?

Yes. You may want to run the installer on your laptop and check for any missing files after you're finished with copying anyway.

    I'll second @Bjoern.

    I've been doing the same thing for years.

    The laptop for when I'm away from home, and the desktop for Hi performance experience.

    All that matters is honoring the no-simultaneous-use standard.
