WinWing Supported?

Featured Replies

There is a thread in the main MSFS forum I’ll link below where I read people are using spad.next to 100^ interface with the WinWing EFIS and FCU hardware thereby bypassing and not even using the WinWing app that one would usually need. Does AAO allow for this as well? I’m gonna be buying their hardware and would love to use AAO for it as I am familiar with it and use it for my Streamdeck.

No, sorry. People have already contacted WinWing about this, but AAO / Lorby apparently are too marginal to even warrant an answer. All I would need is a written specification of their interface. Guess that I will just try again then.

I’ve read Mobiflight has an interface that works with the WinWing hardware. Do you happen to know if is use that if it will interfere with AAO and Streamdeck?

I believe that there are quite a few people using both AAO and MF, especially cockpit builders who rely on Arduinos a lot. To my best knowledge, the WinWing device contains an Arduino controller too, that's why MF was able to strike a deal with them.

There has been interference between AAO and Mobiflight in the past, but only when using MIDI devices (Behringer X-Touch etc.).

Btw. I've contacted WinWing right after my earlier post - haven't heard back from them (as expected)

I use WinWing EFIS and FCU and 4 StreamDecks.

No Problems at all.
For most Airbusses I use downloaded MobiFlight profiles from flightsim.to. For other addos I use Mobiflight for the WinWing displays and assign knobs and buttons with AAO.

Works without any issues.

Hey, may I ask you how do you switch the profiles ? Is there a way to do that automatic or do you assign the profile manual inside mobiflight when you start a flight with a different aircraft ? That is one thing I really love about Aao. Sadly I cannot replicate that with mobiflight for the winwing.

Hope winwing will open support for aao controlling the whole unit,  but it seems like they don’t want to 😞

edit: seems like there is a way to load a specific config with airplane
