My biggest issue with a separate screen is that clicking outside MSFS

I didn't have to do this you just move your mouse to the right goes right into the IPAD to use your mouse or like I stated you can push the menu buttons although kind of small on my  10" screen - my IPAD is sitting horizontally on my desk - much better

My biggest issue with a separate screen is that clicking outside MSFS to interact with the BATC program kills frame generation as it only works with the window in focus. This is also true of using it

  • I agree.  It drives me crazy too that I have to keep clicking on screen to return to BATC. I will post this in its discord too.

  • Thanks for the request. I have uploaded it now on flightsim.to BATC remote control for tablet/browser using AAO for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

I've tried extended display, which only gives me the pc desktop on my ipad, and duplicate display changes the resolution of my pc display, which is at 4k.  Sorry for being a little word not allowed here but, just a tad lost.

Thanks

I'm on 48" 4k Samsung OLED - had no problems - not sure exactly what's going on maybe someone else can chime in - I'm a newbie with this IPAD stuff - maybe do some YT searching

Maybe tell me the exact steps you are taking that may differ from what I'm doing - I don't extend displays - I just drag BATC to the right and goes onto my IPAD

Follow that video I posted exactly - you may be over thinking it - is the PC and IPAD seeing each other

Installed spacedesk driver console on pc. Open it and make sure it's on. It's in my tray.

Installed spacedesk on my ipad. Open it and hit connection. I'm now looking at my pc desktop on my ipad. Doesn't matter what other screen I go to on the pc, ipad still just shows the pc desktop. Did some searching and it mentioned going from extended on pc display to duplicate. When I do that, the pc resoultion drops to the ipad resolution. Tried looking all over on the pc and ipad for someway to change it. Nada.

Works fine

This is what I did in the correct order

1. start pc spacedesk driver console first

2. start flightsim

3. go to dep runway you made in a simbrief flight plan

4. start BATC click load you simbrief flight plan in BATC - let it do its thing - has to load up stuff

5. then run app on your IPAD - you will get a window pop up hit the connection icon its second setting down (Tap it on IPAD screen)

6. In flightsim just drag the BATC menu to the right onto your IPAD expand it done

Heres some pics for ref - maybe there is a setting not the same on the main pc spacedesk settings page that messed up - I didnt touch anything just installed it and it worked

Your pc might not be talking to the IPAD - are you sure they are on same network ? only thing I can think of

They are talking together. I tried dragging the efb board from the pc and when I got it way off screen, it started showing up on the ipad. Working, just not how one would think it would. I'll have to keep playing it with it. Thanks again.

Well it sounds like its working now thats good - it is a bit hard to drag over to the IPAD - prob because of the size of my 48" OLED - next time I will pay attention to that - meaning place BATC in flight simulator closer to the right side

I had BATC way to far on left side of screen - that should make it lot easier - just thought of that 🙂
