I'm not able to access my flt sim pc to check this at present. My thought is to activate the nvidia display of FPS et al with Alt + R prior to starting XP12, then since I won't be using the recording function during a flight, all should be well, and I can turn off the display once XP12 has been shut down. Does this process seem valid? Geforce experience has been deprecated. This is the new replacement https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/ and I been using it for last few months. Yeah Alt-r is the activation but you can change "X-Plane" replay to use another key or Nvidia App to use another shortcut. January 6, 20251 yr Author Yes, thanks. I thought I mentioned I was now using the Nvidia app, having upgraded from the older GEforce Experience. Ah, looking back at 3 posts above, I did. No worries. January 7, 20251 yr Author @mSparks - I currently use the XP12 fps monitor. However, don't like how much real estate it covers, which is the reason for searching for an alternative, which I believe the nvidia App will suffice, until something better comes along. Thanks. January 7, 20251 yr Author I finally realized the LAT display on the Nvidia App FPS overlay is for latency. DOH!!! Anyway, this display does the job well and FPS matches the XP12 frame counter. Thumbs up for the Nvidia App, especially since it runs outside of XP12.
