January 5, 20251 yr Kinda says it all... is FBW A380 MSFS2024 compatible? I installed it, trying things out, noticed however that I cannot push/pull buttons in lock mode (legacy is no-go for me). Neither direct push/pull clicks works (secondary/tertiary), nor first left click hold and then secondary/tertiary button. Since I am sure many of you use it in MSFS2020... I am wondering if this is MSFS2024 issue? Also because FBW clearly states that lock mode should also be working. January 5, 20251 yr I don't think the Stable version works but if you download the Development version into 2020 and copy it over to your 2024, I believe it does. I cannot confirm as I have not tried flying it yet although it is in my Community folder.... When installing I change the target folder in the FBW downloader to the 20/24 community folders and everything goes fine. Just have to change the target folders each time when an update comes out to update each version. Edited January 6, 20251 yr by DavidP David Porrett
January 6, 20251 yr Works fine here, already done KFJK=EGLL, and EDDF-KBOS, without any issues. Climb performance seems ott, but otherwise i like it. AMD Ryzen 7800x3d 64gb DDR5, Sapphire 7900 GPU MSSI Tomahawk AM5 M/Board. 1x 4tb Crucial M.2 SSD, 3x 2tb Crucial M.2 SSD's

Are you using the stable or development version? I thought I saw one update that toned back the rocket ship climb performance? David Porrett

Development version, but have not flown it in the past week to 2 wks. Good to hear the climb rate may have been fixed. January 6, 20251 yr Author I found out by testing the baro knob that it actually does work, however the animation is missing when using the lock interface. The animation is present with legacy interface. I still didn't fly it, first have to figure out, or better said by watching numerous youtube videos, how to set it up properly. And yes, using the dev version, I believe 4K, since that one says to be using DX12 (and MSFS2024 is DX12). Edited January 6, 20251 yr by Simon_C

I did a climb ( development version ) right now with TOW 400000kg and went up to alt 38000ft and this took 21mins ( what seems kind of realistic to me ). Some time before i had sutch a climb with 13mins, so yes something is done here what fitts the plane better now ! January 6, 20251 yr A quick question... Has anyone managed to assign the Elevator Trim to a joystick button? In the FBW doc they say that ELEV_TRIM_UP/DN is a Simconnect event, but I can't manage to assign this function to my hardware using SpadNext. Yeah I think mine is just bound to normal elevator trim and seems to work fine? Also anyone having issues with the doors/jetways/cargo doors in 2024? Can't seem to get them working with GSX or without. Guessing its just a bug for now. I saw in the github it looks like they're looking at the possibility of adding a taxi cam which should be interesting ATR driver MSFS 2020/2024 Ryzen 9 9700x, AORUS X870 Elite, RTX 4070 super, G.Skill 64GB @6000mhz

Mine is also bound to normal pitch trim but it doesn't move. For GSX, I don't use it with the A388 because of some issues with pax number, but doors work normally with the EFB on my side.
