Logitech Multipanel autopilot FS 2024

Featured Replies

So after researching here I figured out that drivers need to be started before the SIM so the panel works (ridiculous) it works for the most part. However with the Boeing's, the Altitude does not work. Anyone using Saitek/Logitech having this problem?

I found the results varied a lot between different aircraft in MSFS 2020. I got SPAD neXt to sort some of them out - which it did - though there were still aircraft (usually the more complex ones) that offered only limited functionality.

I haven't dared try it in MSFS 2024. Which drivers are you using? I found it a real mission finding ones that worked. Saitek (now Logitech) have always been appalling with respect to drivers (they just don't care) yet their hardware isn't exactly cheap.

This driver works in FS2024, as already stated it has to be run each time you load the simulator. As with FS2020 not full functionality with every aircraft.  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-ca/articles/360024692354--Downloads-Flight-Multi-Panel

I was using the driver's from the Logitech site but the newest ones are from 2020. They are the ones ndoug posted. Nothing shows up in the control settings so I don't know how the adjust the assignments. I tried spad but I found it pretty complex.

Hi, Darkmantle!

I had the same problem as you have.

In order to make the Logitech Multi Panel functioning, you must do these five steps:

1. First, install the Logitech driver (I know it is old, but it will work).

2. Search this path in MSFS 2024:

C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs

3. Copy the following text and put it in a txt file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="SimConnect" version="1,0">
<Descr>SimConnect</Descr>
<Filename>SimConnect.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Logitech Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin Steam</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-r</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

4. Rename the text file to "exe.xml" (without the quotes).

5. Copy the file "exe.xml" in the path you found in MSFS 2024

That's all.

By the way, Logitech should adapt the driver install for FS2024! I don't know what are they waiting for!

Greetings
