  1. G'day all, I have both the Brunner Joystick & rudder pedals and have been using the old CLS2Sim software - I noticed with the release of the cheaper versions of the joystick & rudder pedals they have brought out a new software suite - Called Simux. I downloaded & installed same - when I fire it up the first screen shows the axis of each -ie rudder pitch & roll - when I move both the joystick & rudder all the axis move to thier fullest extent - but when I go into the sim using the C152 as my goto testing airplane - all the axis work - but only to a very limited extent - & I really mean limited - so much so on my first flight I had to use the trim to make any type of input. Now has anybody else out there tried this new stuff? & if so any clues as to how to make it work - looks far more úser' friendly than the current offering - Brunner do have 2 short tutorials - one for installation & one just a very short 3 min walktrough. I have contacted Brunner support about this but as yet no reply
  2. I had this problem yonks ago - got "Map Enhancement MFS2024 Pro " - haven't had the problem since - but there was another thread on the site recently saying that it was not any better or worse than the native stuff on 2024 - so switched it off last night - fired up the sim & guess what - wouldn't load past 8/9% - tried several times but to no avail - fired up Map E again & no probs at all - dunno if it uses different servers or what - but FS2024 for me won't work without it - hopes that's some little help (or hinderance) to you🤔
  3. going out tonight in the 500C to see if they have finally got the Bungle Bungle area sorted out - always been a shame that the area was not done well - did many senic flights around that area way back when
  4. for me the C172 was always described as 'a dull & insensitive airplane for dull & insensitive pilots''- 😉- yes & I have flown them in R/L - always found the C152 was far more fun
  5. lucky you - it killed my comp stone dead - had to do a complete windows reload
  6. as for the sound of the Darts here in oz we used to call the F27 the 'ten ton dóg whistle' that's the fun side I bought the thing off the marketplace & it still hasn't appeared in my folder - mumble mumble😒
  7. G'day I am having trouble - I have downloaded A&O's - & downloaded the following files: com.lorblysi.aao.streamDeckPlugin_etc g1000_ap_sd_plus default_ap_sd_plus can you please point me in the right direction where I place these files thx in advance Rattso
  8. Any chance of a button to remove the gunsight on the other models?
  9. Just to get the Cessna 400 series in semi correct order first came the C411 which had a geared engine - which then morphed into the C401 & C402 with various cosmetic & engineering variations & a non geared engine The C411 then got pressurised & morphed into the C421 - still with the geared engine Then they swapped out the geared engines & pressurised the C402 & called it the C414 - again with various cosmetic & engineering changes Around this time the also mucked around with the 300 series & produced the C340 - pressurised & non geared engine (a bit of a dog all round) Needing a real commuter airplane to see the Navaho off they lengthened the fuselage & brought back the geared engines & called it the C404 - which the Frogs took & bunged in a couple of PT6's & called it the C426 Cessna took the C404 & did a pressurised hull - bunged in a couple of Garrets & called it the C441 (best of the lot BTW) (with reservations about just how quiet the C421 was) flown all of the above in R/L with the exception of the C426 check out the history it's an interesting trip through design & marketing
  10. just love to fly it - but still can't get the ILS to work
  11. well had my first run around the block with it last night - did a x country with the upper air work along the way - only managed to kill myself once - with a very optermistic loop at too high an altitude - really enjoyed it - then being a glutton for punishment I went & flew an ILS approach - just love the big & clear FAI & DI - just so easy to see - the big problem I faced was trying to get all the power settings, speeds & attitudes right - all in all it wasn't a disaster (one dot low & one dot wide at the minima) - but I'll certainly be going back & doing more ILS approaches in it untill I get the speeds etc nailed - conclusion - great fun
  12. autopilots are the invention of the devil🤐 - too many of the things have tried to kill me over the years🤬
  13. jus a quick question - do you have to buy it from the FS store or can you get it direct from BB?
  14. just a short story of my Helicopter flying in the sim - what I was doing was pick a city sorta at random - then go potter about & find all kinds of amazing things well I have a friend who was a professor @ a university in Jakarta for 10 years & he gave me the address of his house & the uni he taught at - well what a heap of fun using google maps, little nav map etc & locating a landmark to start with & acually finding both places & taking screen shots of them - he recognised both the street & the uni - that toook me about 2 nights of work I have another friend who did a voyage to the UK from Oz & when he stopped off in Cape Town he walked about & found a very nice park - that was fun finding as well - next he said they had 2 refueling stops up the west coast of Africa - the first was Luderitz (never heard of it before) - so I went to the airstrip (about 5nm out of town) with live Wx - followed the road into town (very bumpy ride & 40+ Celsius) found the dock & downtown - now here is why I just love 2024 - I found an 'Easter Egg' @ the dock - just a fun discovery Anyhow up to Walvis Bay (knew about that from my Navy days) did the same - took screen shots for him - now this is where 2024 sometimes makes you ponder the universe etc - flew back to the airstrip taxied to the hard standing & what should be parked there? a Navion equipped with Ski gear!! in the middle of a bloody great desert!! As I said just great fun exploring all those cities you very rarely see
  15. I enjoy the Sabre - it's my goto airplane when I need to get back to my roots (the Avons were quite slow to spool up)- I bought the Hunter & was dissapointed in that - just couldn't get the seating position right - there was a free Hunter for 2020 that was much better than the new one - just my 2 cents worth
