Saturday at 10:42 PM2 days Has anyone done this?… PNG bush strips around Goroka?I’m going to give it a go in the updated Kodiak.Any tips? What addons or mods do you recommend? Edited Saturday at 10:45 PM2 days by Virtual-Chris
Saturday at 11:02 PM1 day Not recently, but I used to.I occasionally use Mentour Pilot's or Pilot Debrief's videos for route planning. Thanks to your post, Missionary Bush pilot is back on the list!Regarding Missionary Bush Pilot and his Kodiak aircraft: I have FS2020, and the stock C208 fits the bill well, when emulating his flights. I also have the Black Square Steam Gauge Caravan, and it's this aircraft I use for MBP's bush airport hopping. Quite honestly, a smaller prop would work equally well. Personally, the main problem is finding the destination and working out a vertical route down to it. Scenery wide, I also use FS2020 Map Enhancer.I have this: https://www.justflight.com/product/steam-gauge-overhaul-analog-caravanThis is better: https://www.justflight.com/product/black-square-caravan-professional-bundle
Saturday at 11:29 PM1 day Have a look at Mountainair's freeware scenery. He's done a number of airstrips for PNG.https://flightsim.to/profile/Mountainair Edited Saturday at 11:29 PM1 day by Paul K Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

10 hours ago10 hr Another link to everything PNG at FS.To. ( including a version of Goroka )https://flightsim.to/airports/country/PGAlong with Alaska and Canada, PNG is a very popular bush-flying location. I love it, along with Australia, NZ, S.E. Asia, and the Pacific. Definitely my favourite region of the world. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

What addons or mods do you recommend? Not to necessarily push payware, but have you checked out the PNG series through Orbx…? There’s 6 packs (and a 7th on the way). Each pack has about half dozen strips:OrbxPNG Highland Bush Strips Pack 6 - Microsoft Flight Simula...Pack 6 delivers 7 more airstrips to explore in the Papua New Guinea series!
