January 29, 20251 yr I'm looking at some options at the moment and one of them is the Thrustamster Boeing Style Yoke. I have seen many reviews, which all highly rate the product. However, I came across a thread somewhere on here, and there was some talk about the rather big deadzone that this yoke has. I have seen a video on YT which demonstrates this too, and it does look like the deadzone is more than I would like. I'm wondering if anyone who has this yoke could give their opinion about this and whether or not this deadzone is in fact adjustable in the MSFS sensitivity serttings, or if it's more mechnical. Cheers guys. January 29, 20251 yr I have the yoke and have not noticed any deadzone issues and I use it with 3 sims perfectly, fsx /p3d and msfs. I've even used it with Project Cars 2 as a steering wheel! It just 'feels' right with all my planes from a2a Comanche to pmdg 747. I'm not saying what you read is not true, but for a very fussy old simmer like me it has been a wonderful product. January 29, 20251 yr Morning Howard. I have the thrustmaster 787 yoke, I’ve not been conscious of anything feeling out of place with the dead zone personally. There seems to be a fairly common issue with the buttons stopping working, the easy fix for this seems to be just tapping the back of the yoke and they come back to life. On the whole it’s quite a nice yoke. Not sure of your reasons for wanting a new yoke but I see you currently have a fulcrum, which I also own. Out of the two the fulcrum is much better built and has a nicer feel to it. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
January 29, 20251 yr Not sure if this happens to the newer ones but it did on mine. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/thrustmaster-boeing-yoke-control-anomaly/534636/29?u=stevemacferrari Aurora R16, Intel® Core™ i9 14900KF, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090, 64 GB: 2 x 32 GB, DDR5, 2x 4 TB, M.2, PCIe NVMe, SSD

Sure, I am looking at possibly rebuilding a 737 cockpit and am looking at different options, hence my interest in the Boeing yoke. However, I am still playing around with ideas and possibilities, so it's early days. But you have more or less made my mind up TBH. I do love my Fulcrum yoke, so I think perhaps I will keep hold of it Edited January 29, 20251 yr by Rocky_53 HowardMSI Mag B650 Tomahawk MB, Ryzen7-7800X3D CPU@5ghz, Arctic AIO II 360 cooler, Nvidia RTX4090 GPU, 32gb DDR5@6000Mhz, SSD/2Tb+SSD/500Gb+OS, Corsair 1000W PSU, LG Ultragear 48"4K, MFG Crosswinds, TQ6 Throttle, Fulcrum One YokeMy FlightSim YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skyhigh776

I’ve just upgraded to a force feed back yoke , only just set it up literally this morning , but I can already tell that for the realistic weight of airliner flying it’s incredible. I don’t think anyone can go wrong with a fulcrum though. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
