February 6, 20251 yr CTD just started for first time today. They just can't seem to keep either one of these products running well for very long (based on what I'm reading from the people who "fell" for 2024.) I stayed with 2020 because I like stability ...so much for that. Anyway, I'd appreciate any ideas about the CTD. [empty Community Folder, i7-9700, 3080ti]
February 6, 20251 yr OMG! An i7-9700? No wonder ! Just kidding. Actually I have no clue. I just booted up 2020 for a test. I only fly 2024 anymore, except for a test or something. edit: there were other messages here very lately about 2020 CTD when going booting a flight... Yeah, it's a real problem. 😉

Those have been causing some people CTD's recently so yes, it has been a real problem for some lately with the latest drivers. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 6, 20251 yr klax (feelthere) to kbur (orbx v1) no problem loading or flying a320 v.2. The new DLSS and display drivers make 2020 look really nice. Which surprised me. This is new. I've heard other reports of 2020 CTD when loading flights starting a few days ago. But I had no issues here on test flight just now. February 7, 20251 yr Author The CTD happened this way: Immediately after I clicked the final "FLY" box to begin the flight, [ Cessna Bird Dog out of KGON] I would be on the runway in an extreme close up of the back of the pilot's seat with no controls working and "esc" having no effect...locked. CPU activity was furious (and hot!) while I waited a couple of minutes...as long as I dared. Yes, I had recently updated the bird dog and the usual Windows Ten updates.
