February 11, 20251 yr Reminds me of when I was a kid and tried to get elders to play video games with me..... Their memory of videogame's was primitive beeps and boops and characters made of blocky pixels. They had no idea (and really didn't wish to learn) about the rich storylines that were becoming available, especially in the Japanese games, with increasingly deep themes like life and death, friendship and loss hidden in supposedly "kids" offerings, complete with accompanying orchestral quality music/songs.... And now games make more than hollywood. 🤔 A lot of people out there (raises hand) have strong memories of the epic journey across multiple universes, and the unforgettable musical score of Kingdom Hearts, for instance...... We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
