March 1, 20251 yr Try the freeware AutoFPS - it will dynamically adjust your LOD settings on descent. It's not a fix for an inherent MSFS bug, but a very elegant workaround. Highly recommended.

Post a screenshot of the Dev mode FPS window when you have the 5 or 10 FPS. I use it all the time - but in this case I was manually manipulating the TLOD and OLOD - taxiing on the runway with 10 FPS I set the LODs to 50 and buildings/trees to low - made NO difference 30 minutes ago, Alvega said: Post a screenshot of the Dev mode FPS window when you have the 5 or 10 FPS. I will do that - one at 60 FPS and one at 10 FPS AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI X870 Tomahawk Mobo / 64 GB DDR5 memory / RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM / AORUS FO48U 4k display NVMe for Drive C, an NVMe device dedicated to Flight Sim 2024 and a separate NVMe device for Flight Sim 2020 and an NVMe dedicated to 500GB of addons managed by AddonsLinker / 1 GB Comcast Xfinity Internet connection / HP Reverb G2 / Tobii 5 Head & Eye Tracking

I'm wondering if it's trying to reload/re-cache data (which really should be in the rolling cache).
March 2, 20251 yr Yeah, I will vouch. I have set the TLOD down to basically 40 upon descent and still had issues... 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
