FSL Control Centre addon folder location change

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how do I change the above in Fslabs control centre? By default option is My documents/P3D addons folder but because of limited space on C drive I'd rather install it on to my flight sim drive. Does anyone know how I can change that? Tried resetting registry option in control centre but does not help.

As usual Fslabs's inconsistence customer service - tried asking there but no response from developers, very annoyed with them - not making a single purchase with them moving forward.

This is what I mean about inconsistency - the above post is either deleted or removed so the above link means nothing.

It’s been removed by FSL staff in the last three hours. Raise a ticket if you still require assistance.

Yep my support ticket is active for the above since yesterday evening but no one has responded to it yet. I have a history of lack of support from Fslabs, their customer support is horrible and in last 5 years they haven't changed a bit.

It’s the weekend. They need time off just like the rest of us. I read the advice before it was removed. It was to uninstall all your FSL aircraft followed by uninstalling the Control Centre program.

Then install the CC program to your preferred location and then install your aircraft.

Nothing difficult about that.

Uninstall Fslabs addons and control centre via traditional method, make sure you deactivate your Fslabs licences before doing so. Once you have done that - delete all folders that relates to Fslabs including clearing any registries. Reboot PC and install Fslabs control centre and ensure it is a fresh install (meaning there is nothing relating to Fslabs on your system prior to installing control centre again). You should be then able to choose where you want to install your fslabs products.

The above method worked for me.
