Can GSX replacement jetways be enabled now?

Featured Replies

I have them all disabled since 2024 came out and didn't pay attention, was that addressed yet?

I believe jetways for default airports don't have to be disabled, only for addon sceneries.

Well ... I'm utterly confused. I got the dreaded "No SODE jetways" error at NZAA (Flightbeam) but they worked fine at NZWN (also Flightbeam) - so I completely uninstalled GSX (MS Store 2024) and reinstalled.

On re-install, I got the GSX message that jetways don't work correctly in 2024, so ALL jetways are disabled - which is how I left it (when trying the airports above).

Cheers,

That's the thing with beliefs. They are unreliable.

The official stance from FSDT was that in MS2024 they should be completely deactivated. Said so in their FAQ on the official forums.

I asked the question yesterday on their forums and the response from Umberto was below. By default all replacement jetways for default airports are disabled via GSX until the below gets sorted out by Microsobo.

"In order to have these updated for MSFS 2024, we need the ability to optionally download the streamed base files, which has been promised, but it's still not there."
