I finally decided to try the latest Nvidia drivers + DLSS 4.x + Nvidia app. A mistake. Constant CTDs, so I reverted back to an earlier graphics driver and deleted the Nvidia app. I also decided to re-install MSFS2024. All went well, but now I am missing the Beechcraft D18S which I have bought some time ago for the MSFS2020. I flew the bird before reinstalling MSFS2024 and all was well, I also used the Denarq improvement since it became available for MSFS2024. Now, after re-installing the '24, the bird is gone. All that I see is the old disabled 1.8.1 version "Not approved by creator" it says in the library.

I opened a ticket on Zendesk but it seems that the tehnician is insisting that I should enable the said version. Which leads to instant freeze of the sim once the bird is selected.

Please, could somebody check which version of the D18S they have in MSFS2024?

Because you bought the 2020 version, then it's in community or official of 2020 installation, if you still have that.

2020 folder name for marketplace version:

MSCarenado_D18S

The Denarq mod loads fine in my msfs2024 (it's the one that I can't fly without the manual, or even start it).

 

You probably know that the flightsim.to Denarq-enhancement-Beech-D18S_MSFS2024_3kXsh is the folder to drop into community. It won't show anything in My Library because it just mods the Asobo/Carenado 18. When it's in there, I have no default 18. When it's not, then I have no Denarq.

There's 2 Denarq Beech18 mods in flightsim.to, one for 2020 another for 2024.

Thanks for your replies! I do not have the D18S anywhere... this is really strange! As I said, I had a few nice flights with the D18S and Denarq's mod before I reinstalled MSFS2024. I did read the manual, oh yes! 😁 The twin was there, I did not have to enable/activate anything. 

After re-install, this is all I have in the library: D18S "Not creator approved" and if I enable this - instant freeze upon pressing "Configure". I might add I did clean everything, even deleted the "StreamedPackages" folder, "Content.xml", all caches and such. I am no stranger to messing with the sim 😄 But I do keep it clean, using the Addon Linker.

I found the folder "microsoft-aircraft-d18s" in MSFS2020 ...Official\Steam and copied it to '24 Community. While Content.xml says it is "Activated" and I can find it in the library, it is disabled with no option to enable it.

Stumped....

EDIT: I found the D18s in my MSFS2020 installation and copied it over to MSFS2024 Community. Well, the aircraft is Disabled in the sim, no option to Enable it. Further, in the Dev mode under Objects it is listed as "Forbidden"! And further, actually all my 2020 Marketplace bought aircraft are missing. Teh Caribou and ATR 42/72, for example. 

Obviously, my 2020 purchases do not register for some reason. And I did another re-install, all to no avail. 

Anyway, thanks for confirming the D18S version, I have a bigger problem.... back to Zendesk it is...

Anything shown just as "disabled", but not as unavailable, I just click on the word "disabled", And then "enable" pops up way down below as a choice to click on.

I have no clue why your base version shows version 3.10.0 , while mine shows 4.7.0

For one thing, I do not have the "Deluxe to Aviator upgrade". Could that be the reason?

But then again.... wasn't it confirmed that MSFS2020 purchases are/should be available in the MSFS2024 incarnation? So I should have the D18S regardless, right? And I did, before I did the blasted re-install. Quite frustrating, I am achieving nothing through Zendesk and I do not feel like spending 100$ for the Aviator upgrade to get something that I have already paid for.

As your screenshot shows, this is shown as "Not Creator Approved" and in our previous message, we gave you the explanation what this means. 

 

Oh my... I have a MSFS2024 log to prove that the D18S was there and functional only a week ago! Now, after a re-install, I have none of my MSFS2020 Marketplace purchases anymore. I don't know.... English is not my primary language, but I believe people do understand what I am trying to say? In general? 

I guess I am out of options. Reinstalling does nothing.
