May 5, 20251 yr A quick, general question regarding controller axes sensitivities in MSFS 2024. Do you find that the sensitivity settings in MSFS 2020 are a good fit for MSFS 2024 or do significant changes need to be made ? I have the TCA hardware but feedback for other controllers is welcome as well. Thanks. zachlog
May 5, 20251 yr I used the same 2020 sensitivity curves for my Charlie pedals for 2024 and worked just fine, no changes. May 5, 20251 yr The new ground handling code should change how the sensitivities work I would think. dd

I just don't know how drastic these changes will be thus my question. Also, I have noticed in the videos for settings that REACTIVITY has been removed as a setting in MSFS 2024 and this one had a big impact in tuning the TCA settings in MSFS 2020. zachlog
May 6, 20251 yr I started 2024 using my 2020 settings and they were OK, but I did do a few little tweaks here and there which were just lowering the sensitivities very slightly. I guess it probably depends which controllers you are using Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

HMM, that's an unwelcome revelation - Reactivity is a setting in 2020 I use for every control sensitivity except for throttle. Maybe 2024 doesn't need it, but I'm skeptical. Reactivity really helps dampen the twitchy-ness out of control response. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

Even if 2024 has addressed the jumpiness issue, some devices need the help more than others so how does one target the problem areas ? I guess I will find out eventually. In my case in 2020, this setting helped a lot in smoothing out the performance of rudder, elevators and nose wheel steering. zachlog
May 6, 20251 yr I turn my sensitivity to -1 which is the lowest for my rudders. The effect is good but not as much as you think because controller responsiveness is much better in 2024 IMO. dd
