May 11, 20251 yr Hello, First of all, this topic is not intended to be flammable, so please abstain from harsh rhetoric. I own BATC (as well as FSHUD and PSXT/RT) and I'm pretty much satisfied with level of ATC in general. The area, which I'm not completely satisfied, is AI ATC ground control. In each case that involves arriving traffic crosses another runway (think EHAM, KDTW, KJFK with pair of 4/22, KEWR, KSFO, KLGA) traffic jams are common and I don't see much progress with each patch BATC issues. So my question is how SI handling ground flow? Better, the same, worse? May 11, 20251 yr SI traffic is in Alpha, so you have to wait until full release and then you can use a free 24-trial to check it out. That's what I would do.
May 11, 20251 yr In my case I use the current release of SI with PSXT and Real Traffic; so I only get traffic jams when there are traffic jams in real life (eg EGKK at 0900Z!). Petraeus

May 11, 20251 yr I have both BATC and SI. They both have a variety of issues with handling of ground traffic.

However I use historical weather and historical traffic, so it's rarely an issue. SI doesn't talk to the real traffic, of course. It will with its own generated traffic, which is in alpha at the moment. When that goes live I'll see what it's like in order to decide whether to dispense with PSXT. Petraeus
