2024 - PMDG 777 - Change view = full down elevator

Featured Replies

I am finally making the move over to 2024..... Had done a couple of quick fights with the 777 but tried my first full one yesterday. Without chaseplane, I have really been trying to get camera views set up. (PLEASE HURRY TO 2024, CHASEPLANE!)

Now any time I change a view, whether that be instrument views or custom views, the yoke goes full forward, AP disengages and i am descending at 6000 fpm.

This only happens when I use the key commands on the keyboard.... if I use the camera menu and select an instrument view or showcase view, no issue.

I have checked bindings and there is nothing else bound to the key combos I have selected. Confirmed.

The only change is that I installed GSX before this flight but cannot imagine that is the cause....

Be also sure to check yoke/flight stick bindings as well.  The symptoms you describe almost universally point to a binding conflict in my experience these past 4+ years.  Good luck,

Because I am using Spad, I have no bindings for my yoke and throttle setup in the sim. I use the honeycomb alpha and bravo, for what its worth.

It's still safe to check if any in-sim binding might exist even though you didn't create one.  The odd one often exists as I once thought I deleted every binding and still found one or two still hanging around.

so, strange enough, the issue disappeared on my next flight the following day. No idea... very strange.

Also when you plug a new piece of gear 2024 will auto assign bindings, so you must erase everything and program in new bindings.
