would not work for me on fs2020, says dont have permissions even when run as admin  

Every time I tried it in ms2020 it caused problems.

I used to use it all the time in 2020 as I found the green roads particularly annoying. However I haven't really used it in 2024; mainly because it's still in a state of transition at the moment. 

Perhaps after SU3 is released out of beta I'll give it another look.

I found it useful but it's not a general fix for everywhere and I found coverage varied. As a very broad rule of thumb I found the updated Bing maps were superior in Europe whereas Google maps coverage was better in North America.

Having said that I can also think of several places where the stock Bing maps were better than either...🤔
