My first issue is this localcache folder does not exist, and the content.xml file is in the root MSFS 2024 folder.

Okay I figured it out. The right content.xml is in my user folder within MSFS 2024 folder. No idea why there are two.

Hmm tried this and it doesn't seem to work all my content.xml edits get overwritten at next FS boot.
