Anyone have an issue with MCDU typing when setting up an approach?

It says disconnect Winwing MCDU before next approach even when I have disconnected it before even booting the PC. Also, it occurs whether the quick setup is ticked or not ticked.

It types the from/to airport codes twice.

I unplugged my MCDU and FCU/EFIS and don't open the Winwing software. My Winwing stick seems to work without the software and I only need to press the APPR switch on the FCU which I do on the screen instead of the hardware.

If this works I'm OK with it for landing practice, as I use a USB hub on my desk and it's easy to unplug any item.

However, this will work for landings but will not work if you need to move aircraft to TOD etc
