  1. So, I started with an old PC and realised it wasn’t enough, built a new one in April this year with a 9800x3d and ran my old 3080ti with a single screen and it was kind of OK but not great so got a 7900xtx based on recommendations here. At that time a 5090 was absurdly priced where I live - about 4000 USD or more. It’s now about 2800 USD so even with the loss I’ll take on selling the 7900xtx I am better off than having bought the 5090 in April. Still getting stuttering and fps below 30 on high settings and 4k on center screen and 1080 on side screens. Then moved to a 3 main screen, and 4 touchscreen setup and now I have some stuttering in busy airports, and I cant set ultra settings. The 3 main screens are of my 7900xtx and the 4 additional are off my integrated GPU. So, question is should I get the 5090 now? Willing to spend the cash but few doubts Will the new AMD 10000 series launch soon? Will the 60 series Nvidia launch soon? Most important - I have seen major improvement with the SU4 Beta and wondering whether if I wait for a couple of months the optimisation will get even better?
  2. Anyone have an issue with MCDU typing when setting up an approach? It says disconnect Winwing MCDU before next approach even when I have disconnected it before even booting the PC. Also, it occurs whether the quick setup is ticked or not ticked. It types the from/to airport codes twice. I think I have a partial solution. Worked twice but let's see over a few days. I unplugged my MCDU and FCU/EFIS and don't open the Winwing software. My Winwing stick seems to work without the software and I only need to press the APPR switch on the FCU which I do on the screen instead of the hardware. If this works I'm OK with it for landing practice, as I use a USB hub on my desk and it's easy to unplug any item. However, this will work for landings but will not work if you need to move aircraft to TOD etc
  3. Guys, after hours of struggling found this forum Set up everything and got the AAO to connect to the sim. It even shows the name of the aircraft that I'm in, but for the life of me cant get stream deck to actually work in the sense when I press a button the the deck, nothing happens in the sim. any ideas? Had to change the port and set the firewall rules to get the AAO to connect to sim but it finally did. Can't understand why the streamdeck doesn't work though. Using a Streamdeck mobile.
