August 13, 2025Aug 13 Last two days I’ve been getting random audio stutters where the sound cuts out here and there in 2020. What causes this? Haven’t really seen this since the recent su16 update. i have a good pc, i9-10850k, 4070ti super, 32GB ram. Graphics settings are not extreme and are reasonable. Using windows 10.

It might be related to a USB headset or sound card issue.
August 16, 2025Aug 16 I'm confused. > "What causes this? Haven’t really seen this since the recent su16 update." Are you saying you still have the issue, or has it gone away after SU16? Anyway, it happens in 2024 also. Mine comes and goes and seems worse when the sim is being pushed or in low VRAM situations. I have neve seen a definitive fix for it in either sim, after trying virtually everything people suggest. Asobo are aware of it, but if we will ever see a fix, or even if they have traced it or know how to fix it is unknown. August 16, 2025Aug 16 This has been happening to me in MSFS 2020 for a few months now. Now I'm on SU16 and it still happens. It doesn't happen all the time, just on some flights. My fps drops significantly when this happens. I've tried many things but I can't find a solution. August 16, 2025Aug 16 Disable nahmic in the task manager. Disable anything realtek related and maybe reinstall sound drivers. That fixed the issue for me. The only other suspect that springs to mind assuming that you have reinstalled your sound and graphics drivers is a process related to Realtek called A-volute. Again, your system may not be using Nahamic or Realtek stuff so will not be relevant to you and you may need to delve into your sound driver software a little deeper.
