August 17, 2025Aug 17 Up until now I have used a sidestick controller. Just bought a yoke (Honeycomb alpha) and finding it difficult to maintain heading on an ILS approach once heads up. Always over-correcting. Any tips from the pros?

August 17, 2025Aug 17 if you're overcorrecting then reduce the sensitivity. By how much will depend on your hardware and to a large extent the flight model.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 You can get great information with simple internet searches. Something like "honeycomb sensitivity settings video". You may find several to choose from, or watch them all as each may have value. At this time you should avoid any that call out in the title SPAD, AXIS AND OHS, as those are third party interface apps and more complicated than just getting started. Here is one for MSFS 2020. Even if you are on MS 2024 it could be helpful. The 2024 settings screens are different so try to find a video specific to 2024 as well. These will get you where you want to be much faster than chasing all sorts of message suggestions.
