This is driving me buggie. Running MSFS 2024. If I start on a runway, I will be in the cockpit. If I start on any other location ie. Ramp, parking spot etc. I start up outside the plane, not in the cockpit. And.... I can't get into the cockpit no matter what I do. There are two tabs on the lower screen. EFB and Enter Cockpit. The EFB tab opens and closes the EFB, The Enter cockpit does nothing at all. I hit control C nothing, I hit shift C nothing, I hit C Space Bar nothing. This is driving me crazy. I'm in free flight mode. I don't want to walk around the airplane, I just want to start in the cockpit. Hoping someone out there can solve this crazy puzzle. It will be so appreciated. go to settings

select controls

select keyboard

make sure msfs2024 profile is selected. if not, select that

then try entering the cockpit via shfit+c

I think I did that, not sure but I'll try again and thank you. I think I have msfs2020 profile selected. Will get back you you AV and thank you . Walt

That worked, thank you. But now I have to go back and create new profiles again. Thats such a headache. But you did fix the problem and a very sincere "Thank You" AV. Walt

I just click on the mouse wheel and move the pointer to the latch for the cockpit door. Click on the latch and the door will open to the flightdeck.

Thanks. I tried that. Door opens but that's it. Can't enter the cabin. I think I have it working now though. Thank you, Walt
