Error message

System.NullReferenceException
Message=Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Source=ASP3DV6


Following the above is a ~ 40 page error message.

Everytime I open it I get, "Another session is already running. Do you want to terminate it?" This started two days ago, coinciding with the error message.
Answer yes, error message.
Answer no, it closes.

When I googled the message it suggested reinstalling which I did.
I'm at a loss.

I have submitted a ticket at hifi.

I installed the beta and that works...so far.
I still got the existing session message. But what I don't understand is what is the "other device" it refers to?

For giggles I loaded it again. And now no "other session" message.

 

If I have any hair left, I'll let you know.

I had the same issues starting about 10 days ago.

I reported the issues to hifisim, went through the troubleshooting steps they sent me, reported back to them, and sent them my logs.

It's impressive that they fixed this problem so quickly.

I don't have v6 so this doesn't affect me, but it is nice to see HiFi Sim still supporting P3D.

Hifi are gentlemen. Very responsive and helpful.

Their product is also extremely good. They do continue to support P3D which is excellent, and I'm glad they have a presence with MSFS to keep them going.

Hi Dave - I have the same issue; currently now uninstalled it; should I go via HiFiSim or is the fix you used something that I could try?

There's an open Beta you can download on Hifisim's website which should fix the problem.

Thanks - I raised a ticket and they supplied a link to that beta; full uninstall of the purchased version and install of that beta this morning has fixed it.
