If you are on SU4 beta I don’t believe it works, but that’s the issue I had.

Make sure you have Edge Webview installed and up to date.

This is one of Atmos Core's dependencies.

Edge Webview, what is that?>>

Have not heard of such a thing as dependencies which are a bit beyond my comprehension as a user and not being a programmer

Also, in the best of times, I find Atmos core to suffer from a  difficult UI

Edge Webview2 installed, still not working after update 8.0.2025.0825.
Public Beta 8.0.2025.0919 was running perfectly without Webview.

Just read a message on their discord: version 8.0.2025.0919 "has been reactivated until 12/1".
Reinstalled this version and it's working.

All I can tell you is that on my system running Windows 11pro Atmos Core will not run without Webview.

If it is missing, Atmos Core will open and close almost immediatly.

It is normally part of MS Edge so usually does not require seperate installation, so if you have MS Edge installed you also have Webview installed.

I have operated Windows 11 for over 2 years now without MS Edge installed ( on purpose ) and have not encountered any problems, up to now that is, until I tried Atmos Core.

When I looked up Event Viewer after Atmos crashes I can see the report stating it crashed out because it could not find Webview so hence I had to re-install it.

But if you can get Atmos Core to run without having Webview installed I'd be very grateful if you could tell me how, please.

Surely 0919 is the update to 0825 so I'm somewhat confused when you say "0919 was running perfectly" intimating 0919 preceded 0825 ??

I understand your confusion but the Public Beta has the numbers 8.0.2025.0919. I had it running before the forced update numbered 8.0.2025.0825.

You can download it in Rex Axis / REX Support and Knowledge Base / Atmos Core - Public Beta for SU4. (dated 10.13)

@Sparkrite Re Webview: I don't how I did 0919 get running without it. It just ran.
So did Atmos in fs2020. Perhaps Webview was installed with Edge. However 0825 did not run with or without Webview2 installed separately. System is W11pro.

On Rex's discord there are discussions about Rex Atmos Core's 0825 CTD. Webview is not mentioned.

Is 0825 running on your system?

Never tried it as I understood it was not compatible with SU4 beta. (may try it though 😊)

As I already said, if you have Edge installed you also have Webview installed.

There is no doubt that Webview is a neccessary dependant for Atmos Core. See the screenshot if I block access to Webview and invoke weathercreator.exe (AtmosCore).spacer.png

Sorry, but I still don't understand: did you get Atmos Core 0825 running on your system?

Rex discord, 10/20/25, 8:42 PM. " If your running SU4 yes you still require the Atmos Core SU4 BETA".

You can download it in Rex Axis / REX Support and Knowledge Base / Atmos Core - Public Beta for SU4. (dated 10.13). This version 0919 "has been reactivated until 12/1".

Did you try this one?
