Wireless, Ray.

But it has not fixed the USB not recognised problem. I still have to reboot to get them all working.

Could it be a power management problem?

  1. Disable power saving for USB controllers:
    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section.
    • Right-click on each "USB Root Hub" and select "Properties".
    • Go to the "Power Management" tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
    • Click "OK" and repeat for all "USB Root Hub" entries.

I have fixed this many times in the past but thanks for reminding me: I found two entries that had somehow reverted to being ticked. I shall have another look tomorrow and see if it has made a difference,

Tested this morning. Unfortunately, not fixed.

If your having trouble with Windows this could help.
