October 30, 2025Oct 30 Author Moved out of the msfs forum because it is not in any way related to flight simming, I guess and hidden in hangar chat for all things not related to flight simulation I guess. That does not make much sense to me when we are all reliant on Azures servers to install or use msfs and without the servers it simply doesn't work. I wonder if the mod who moved it could explain why? Any company with even the smallest amount of ethics would make other opportunities within the company available to the employee being replaced by AI. Unfortunately, the CEOs and department heads in the corporate world look at AI as cost savings exclusively to enhance their individual compensations and the ever increasing need to expand fiscal clout (sometimes using “commitment to shareholders” as the excuse). AI is benevolent, as always, it’s how it’s being used/managed that can make it good or bad. However, the configuration issue with MS Azure was human error, not AI. Where AI would have helped is early detection and/or even during pre-implementation testing (assuming there was any and it seems there wasn’t or their testing methodology is flawed). My 2 cents.
