Cannot launch MSFS 2024 anymore

Featured Replies

Out of a sudden I get a warning when I want to launch MSFS 2024: "Do you own this game ... error code 0x803f8001 ... " The links ended in a loop. I don't know what to do? I purchased it just about one year ago for 140 € the Premium deluxe version. Do I have to pay it again? I didn't buy game pass. I'm totally lost what's going on. Please, some advises!

Try signing in and out of the Xbox app or repairing MSFS in the app settings in windows.

They are having some server issues, please try again in 30 mins or so.

I get a message when I open the xbox app: I'm signed in with my "username" but notification says: "We could not sign into you MS store account." If I click on it, it appears a new small window: "Confirm the account you use for purchases (a recent hardware change requires you to log in into your MS Store account again)"   If I click on CONTINUE  nothing happens ...

Oh what a mess. I could launch MSFS2024 again. They guided me through a setup I have never seen before. Then they  recognized me ... " Ah we  know you <username>." But, and that's the drama ... I have lost all my controls bindings. I'm really really word not allowed ....

All is back and runs as good as before. Two stressful hours just for nothing. Not sure if it was a server issue or it had to do with my recent video card change. Anyway, I'm back in game ...
