I am having problems with Skyforce to recently too.  For example, I tried a flight starting at Unalaska (PADU) to go exploring my Dutch Harbor scenery by Aerosoft, I looked up the current weather report in Skyforce and in the report, under where it says Weather Conditions, it just says Unknown, though the rest of the information is there.  It's supposed to be cloudy, but I see no clouds.  In fact, there's not a cloud in the sky at all.

I really hope they didn't shut the weather servers down 🙁

Maybe now's a good time to buy AS16, it's actually on sale right now over at Just Flight and Aerosoft websites.  I've read that it's supposed to work with all cloud textures so I can still use the REX textures.

I really would be very surprised if Rex shut the weather servers down but if you do decide to go for AS16 I can certainly recommend it, having been using it now for many years during which it has performed seemlessly. I use it with Active Sky Cloud Art cloud textures combined with Envtex but I think you can use other textures too although only ASCA allows the real-time dynamic weather influenced textures function of AS16 to work.

SkyForce is being retired.

Does that mean that dynamic real time weather is no longer available to SkyForce users? So from now on there is nothing available from Rex that will run with FSX or P3D?

It will still work, but there will be no support for the older products.

Sorry, but it is still not working.  Whenever I try to load a flight with REX Skyforce weather engine I get no clouds, even though there's supposed to be clouds.  I always get clear skies no matter what.  Also, every time I look up an airport's weather conditions in Skyforce, it says Weather Conditions Unknown, for every airport.

They shut down their live weather servers permanently when they pulled their textures packages from sale.  The only way to get live weather now for FSX is to buy Active Sky 2016.
