Pop-out instrument panels

Featured Replies

After updating to FS2024 SU4 no longer are the positions of my instrument panels that I popped out to my secondary display being saved. Was a new option in SU4 added that need to be set to save panel positions and if so which option would that be? Or can panel positions after SU4 no longer be saved?

Thanks a lot for any help and/or suggestions.
Hans

I suggest you use the free 'MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager'. Makes life very easy. I use it for my home cockpit.

Thank you. I will give it a go tomorrow.

When I pop out a panel my frame rate takes a massive hit and it's down to about a third of what it usually is.

Is there a fix or workaround for this?

I use it and pop out 3 screens and take a minimal fps hit.  Do you use Rivatuner? I had these kind of issues when I used that app and removing it improved things immensely.   Also,  do you use NVidia app / filters?  That was also another pain point for me which I removed.   Hope this helps.

And ... adding to that, I loose focus and my controls aren't usable.

Thanks I do use Rivatuner. I will try it without. I have an AMD Radeon 7900XT and not currently using any filters (will double check that though when I am next at the PC)
