December 24, 2025Dec 24 I will spend my precious time playing the game. Watching all the know it all nonsense YouTubers is a complete waste of time.

He was certainly one of the YouTube flight sim pioneers, and always had informative videos. I wonder what he's up to these days? I think his real first name was Pete. December 24, 2025Dec 24 The cool thing about TwoToneMurphys vids are his flights are in some awesome scenery. The info I get from him and his many followers is the best. I usually check him out after my daily 3 hour flight. BTW, being retired is great and after 35 years in IT I deserve it. ☺️ dd Edited December 24, 2025Dec 24 by Sky_Pilot071

Fun Fact: I went into the museum's small snack area and sat down to eat something from the vending machine. Take a bite and look up and I'm sitting across the table from Austin Meyers!! He moved back to the UK from the USA a few years ago. Indeed, his final video was on that topic, I think. My view is that YouTubers feel the need to keep the content coming and streaming is a relatively easy way to do it. Froogle (and, for example, FlightDeck2Sim, in his early days), made simple, instructional content: this is a VOR and this is how you navigate using them. 20 minutes. Done! I've been simming for well over 20 years, more seriously for about ten.
