January 1Jan 1 I cannot pan around in walkaround mode, thus not able to a full walkaround. I studied Huddisons videos on setting up the controller. , I set views like in his 1st and 2nd video (in duplicated empty profiles). But in avatar first person mode, still rotate does nothing (forward and sideways work fine with the left controller stick). Only when I choose External in the toolbar menu, and thus get to 3rd person avatar mode and then can freelook in all directions holding the right mouse button (and still nothing happens with the right xbox controller stick) (In cockpit looking around in all directions works with the right stick as in his video) So something is preventing panning up down left and right in first person avator mode. BTW I tried keyboard bindings, but also no luck. Does anyone have a clue? January 1Jan 1 Hi Rene, I am using the mouse for panning, up/down/laterally in Walk Around mode. It's behaving just like the mouse does in the virtual cockpit. I don't use an XBox controller so don't know what to make of that issue. They did a year ago or so, something has changed. January 1Jan 1 I use Xbox controller for panning in walk around view and drone view, And it works great along with may flight stick panning switch and mouse. January 3Jan 3 Author I resolved the issue: the first person freelook speed was set on 0!! Of course I never set it at 0, never thought about even that possibility to tweak. January 3Jan 3 Personally, similarly to Noel, (and as I don't use an Xbox controller), I find by far the easiest way to use walkaround mode is to just use the 'W' and 'S' keys for forward and back, and the mouse (RMB clicked) for all panning and direction changing. Works great.
