MSFS 2024 - ESKS Scandinavian Mountains

Featured Replies

I have just visited ORBx ESKS Scandinavian Mountains in MSFS 2024 for the first time, and I noticed a couple of issues.

  • There is a significant amount of grass on sections of the taxiway and runway (at the 33 end)
  • Moving my PMDG 737 at this airport is like trying to move through a ploughed field (extremely bumpy, and requires significantly more power to get moving)

I have attached four screenshots to illustrate the problem. Can anyone else confirm this, or is it a problem exclusive to my PC?

I can confirm this is also how it looks like in my sim with scenery version V1.0.2 and I've made a bug report on the ORBX forums about this issue.

I have asked Marcus Nyberg direct, but he has stated to me recently (about one or two other issues) that no updates are planned for the Swedish triple package. I just hope that this is an exception.

Good luck lads.  Just remember what has happened next time they want to sell something to you.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I think if many point out this issue, a patch is more likely to happen.

Marcus has just confirmed that he will be providing a hotfix for this issue

As bobcat said: "Just remember what has happened next time they want to sell something to you."
I'll definitely will as Marcus Nybergs airports are not only visually and FPS wise top notch addons but he's always quick with his responses to bug reports and provides fixes asap.

Great guy.

Wrong target, Marcus Nyberg is one of the very best airport developers out there.
He reacted virtually straight away, as he always does and this will be fixed.

This is not an error that has always been there, it's another gift from SU4.
Sometimes, if you have nothing to say, it is best to say nothing.
