Help with an older scenery

Featured Replies

I found a freeware scenery for Pamplona Spain (LEPP). It was made for P3D v3, and I got it to work in P3 v5.4 (I needed to delete the default buildings). I am having some problems with the SODE stuff for this airport. There was red X's floating over the dynamic flags and dynamic windsocks, I got those fixed, but there is a red X in the scenery that I can't get rid of. If you are on runway 33 the X is next to the runway about down the runway. Can anyone figure it out?

Here is a link to the scenery Noain | simzaleak for a P3D v3 scenery it is a pretty good scenery!

The SODE log should help identify the problem object. My guess it’s a windsock.

It's possibly a SODE object you haven't installed yet. As Ray says, it may be a windsock. Some sceneries have an installer for the airport, and another one for the SODE objects. Can you check if that's your case?

I had Simzaleaks scenerys uninstalled and added it again because of this thread. After adding it, I had an immediate CTD. I couldn't start P3Dv5 anymore, got a CTD after some time without any report. After removing the sceneries, P3D works again.

At least I realized, I had not removed the SODE xml from LEPP. So will do that now. 😀

I got rid of the red X, but now there is nothing where the X was. One of the SODE models files was disabled (it was named mdl.OFF). Now the X is gone, not sure if there was supposed to be something there or not. I don't see anything in the screenshots of the scenery in that area.

PS: It's not a windsock. Those are showing up and working fine.
