Pedal Disc/Fenix option?

Featured Replies

Hi, couldnt find any newer thread about this but is this simulated and if it is how do i setup my pedal disc button on my Airbus tiller for it?

I guess if its simulated you would have to go outside to see it work .Might be why its not first priority.

Thanks

Hey Michael,

You can click on rudder pedals right in the middle and you will disconnect rudders in order to taxi properly.....It will disconnect automatically once you are on runway and above 40Kn....

Thanks , but my question is actually about the control check in this case the rudder when you are standing still after pushback. The pedal disc button is pressed to insure the nose-steering wheel is disconnected from the pedals so you dont scrup your nose wheel rubber when you stand still.

I think you would have to use Spad.next or similar software to set the appropriate LVAR for it. I dont think there is an actual mapping for it

As far as I know...pressing disc button doesn't do anything. I tried. Button works when pressed but...noting happens. This click spot acts that way you want it....

Don’t quote me on this, but I think the airbus has a certain degree of nosewheel movement with the rudder pedals below a certain speed. The ped disc button ensures when doing rudder checks the nosewheel doesn’t move at all.

If you use a tiller ( in my case a joystick Z twist) and taxi push the rudder pedals and you’ll see the nose gear move left or right a little, if you push the disc button the rudders move but the nosewheel doesn’t, at all.

It works exactly as it should. As already stated by @MrRoper, you can bind it to a hardware button using spad, AAO or FSUIPC (which is what I use).

The lvar to map is  S_FC_CAPT_TILLER_PEDAL_DISCONNECT

True...but limited movement...unable to Taxi....FSL has better logic but this works for me.
