Anyone using this bird in SU4? I'm curious if there the sim update broke anything. Snowy cold afternoon here. I thought I'd perhaps pick it up if there aren't any issues.

Thank you. I watched that video and it was obvious he was not particularly familiar with this add-on, so if there were some less obvious issues lerking, he might have missed them. Further, it predates SU4, which broke several add-ons in various ways.

OTOH, it's cheap and I loved this thing in FSX and P3D, so it's now purchased.

Ha - THATS the spirit! 😁

Seems to need a lot of trim to fly level.

Trim movement is quite slow. Engine spin up too... even slower than I remember from FSX days. But I was able to takeoff and land without an incident on my first flight, so it can't be too bad.  😉

I enjoy the Sabre - it's my goto airplane when I need to get back to my roots (the Avons were quite slow to spool up)- I bought the Hunter & was dissapointed in that - just couldn't get the seating position right - there was a free Hunter for 2020 that was much better than the new one - just my 2 cents worth

Is anyone having an issue with the taxi/landing lights not aimed properly? Seems to aim left and back.

Thanks

The DCS Sabre must be really good. I recall flying much the Milviz one in FSX, and wishing there was an Autopilot…🙂

Such a nice a/c to fly in our SIM…!

You folks might enjoy one of these then. One of our guys in the AuthentiKit community is designing it at the moment. When it's done the files will be free to download. It's self assembly and you print the files yourself or there's a friends'n'family type scheme where others in the community will print for you.

Agreed. They're quite useless for taxi. The user manual suggest this is intentional (realignment when there's weight on the gear), but it seems like a bit of a miss to me.
